Michael Meadows, Senior Pastor

Pastor Mike joined the Central staff in April 2012 and serves as Senior Pastor. After spending 5+ years in the U.S. Army, he served as a police officer and bi-vocational youth minister in Temple, Texas. While serving as a police officer, God called him into full time ministry and provided him the opportunity to obtain a Masters degree in theological studies. Bro. Mike is married to his best friend, Trina, and they have five blessings from God. Pastor Mike loves to spend time with his wife, play with his kids, and enjoy God’s wonderful creation.


                     Melvin Cates, Pastor of Family & Students

Melvin Cates joined the Central staff in December 2012 as Student Minister with a focus on ministering to Jr. High and Sr. High youth.  He received his Master's Degree in Community Counseling and has spent his entire professional career counseling and leading teens and their families in a variety of ways, including traditional counseling as well as experiential adventures.  Melvin is married to
his best friend, Stephanie, and they have two children.  His passions are serving a loving God, leading his family, and guiding God’s children to a greater understanding of His grace.  Coaching Little League Baseball, ‘rooting for’ the Houston Texans, and fishing with his kids are things Melvin enjoys doing in his spare time.

                          Doug Loafman, Pastor of Discipleship 

Doug came to Central as Associate Pastor in January of 2016. Before going into vocational ministry, he spent 25 years in education after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University. In 1982 Doug came to Livingston High School where he spent the next 22 years as a Spanish/history teacher and coach of various sports. In 2004 he accepted a position at Hillsdale Baptist College in Moore, Oklahoma where he began a men’s soccer program and served as coach from 2005-2007. Doug transitioned into vocational ministry in 2007 when he went on staff at First Baptist Church of Moore and served as Minister of Pastoral Care and International Ministries until coming to Central. Doug and his wife, Luci, have three grown sons and 10 grandchildren currently. They are thankful for the opportunity the Lord has given them to serve him at Central and their desire is the same as that expressed by Paul in Philippians 3:7-10; to, “...count all things as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus."

                    Kadileigh Haire, Children's Ministry Director

Kadileigh Seibert Haire joined the Central staff in March 2016 as Children’s Ministry Director. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alabama. She also has had leadership training in ministry from Highlands College. Before moving to Texas, she served as the children’s small group coordinator for a church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Kadileigh also worked as the video producer/sound tech for CentriKid camps during the summer of 2015. She is passionate about equipping families in the discipleship of their children.  Kadileigh is married to Trent Haire and they have one daughter, Ella Drew.  She loves spending time with her family (especially her daughter, three nieces, and nephew), going antiquing, grilled cheeses, and playing with her dogs, Belle and Opie.
